Phone Complaints Consumer Complaint About Mobile Phone Repair, Samsung India/intouch Service, Bangalore

I had approached Intouch Services at BTM Layout in Bangalore to repair my Phone (GT S5233S) for unresponsive touch screen on 1/6/2012 at 3.15 PM and the request was registered in the name of my son Mithun Chandra since I had no alternative contact number.

Today(2/6/2012) my son received a call from the said service center requesting him to collect repaired product. He came despite his busy work schedule to help me out with this. But unfortunately the Customer Copy of Service request was misplaced and could not be traced. We approached the counter (at around 3 PM) making the delivery and stated the facts. But the person at the delivery counter said, at first, that the phone could not be delivered without the Customer Copy of Service request. After some time the person asked for ID proof and my son produced the driving licence. Then same person said that we have to state facts of the case in a blank paper. To comply with the request, we asked for a sheet of paper and were told that the office had no paper sheets. Disappointed we came back. And since my son had to go back to his work, he left.

Now I am left high and dry with my son unable to find time for one or more weeks as he might have to go out of town on official duty. It is unfortunate that a senior citizen like me who has medical conditions that need attention from time to time is left with no mobile phone just because some wise person at your service center thought it fit to send us back.
